The Bournemouth Society of Magicians is a small friendly group of magicians who each specialise in various aspects of magic as a form of entertainment. As such, they meet in various members homes every fortnight to discuss whats new in magic, and to discuss tricks.
Such are the specialities of each member that we have the facilities to stage a complete magical variety show for charitable purposes, with our own technicians, stage crew, lighting, sound, compere and artists to present a wide variety of magic fun and spectacle at all levels. Audiences love to see a LIVE variety show, especially a show that is suitable for all the family.
Secretaries of charitable organisations are invited to contact Ron Gilbert, our Secretary, if they would like to be considered for the Bournemouth Society of Magicians to stage a magical variety show for them, for fund-raising. Basically, we provide the entire show running for between one to two hours and the organisation concerned provides the suitable venue and takes care of the advertising to attract the required audience numbers! It's as simple as that. Over the years we have raised thousands of pounds for various charities....and we love doing it!
