The answers to the big questions here.
How did it all start? What have we won? Why are we wasting our time reading this nonsense? Who should we blame? Where does this Pnut live then?

HISTORY
This might take me a few days to type out, so sorry if you have a look and it's rubbish. Mind you it's all a load of cobblers anyway.
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...........
Well in all honesty, it was winter 1991. Bishops Caundle Sunday side had shut down, after winning three trophies, Hannah had no team to play for, there was a cockney bloke in town that kept on muttering about Kerry Dixon, Pnut had just started having 'funny' feelings towards girls. While I was no different than I am now, fat and lazy with really bad hair.
One evening while I was at 'work' the nut and I were playing darts, and we were lamenting the demise of Bishops Sunday team. We just couldn't understand how they folded, due to lack of players. Why hadn't the legendary Jefferson Hann asked us to play for him? Then we remembered, we were totally usless at football, what we lacked in passion, skill, fitness and ability we made up for with the fact that we were quite funny (In Pnut's case that should be 'funny'). As we all know comedy vale is generally not regarded as a high priority when a manager is looking for players.
It didn't take us long to realise that if we were ever going to play football again, we would have to start our own team.
So we did.
Well sort of. We chatted to Hannah, CT, and a few others. We had our first ever meeting, only 4 grown ups I think and about half a dozen kids. Lots of spitting went on and we talked about Bob Carolgese(?), not much was achieved but we were Sherborne West End FC and we didn't care!!!
The word was out, people flocked to us, so that they could laugh and poke us with really long sticks. Slowly though players came, Hannah who was in on it from the start. Cockney Tony another founder, who is really from Newcastle. Mike Burton, Neville Wood, Roger and Malcolm Rowe, Paul Cliffe, Daniel Bickle, Craig Thorne, Jono King, Simon Williams, Tom Mann, Oli Maidment and a bunch of kids so that we could have someone to play against, that would make us look really good!
We started training, Sunday mornings, 9.30 or some crazy time like that. Rarely got into double figures so it was rather frustrating trying to play a 3-a-side game for 2 hours. Not only was it frustrating, but exhausting, and embarrassing, especially for those of us that kept on getting skinned by 13 year olds! (Pnut, not me!)
At some point young Mr Chester arrived, something to do with Nev I think? Well he brought Matty Daniels with him. Things were looking better. Not for Richie Maidment they wern't, Neville poked him in the eyes, laughed my actual arse off. Things sort of slowed down for the 2002 World Cup, well it all ground to a halt, no training, nothing, even the ridicule almost ceased.
During the World Cup however Tony did his job as manager and got us some bloody players. So once World Cup fever had passed, Mike Male, Neil Lane, Adam Beale, Wayne Turner, Matthew Wilson, and Craig Pitts all signed for us.
Next we realised that we hadn't actually filled in any of the forms for the Doset FA or the Blackmore Vale League, basically the forms that would let us play football. We also had to find money to affiliate and enter cups and things. Somewhere to play would have been nice, and a kit to play in would have been a special bonus too! We were in trouble, we were usless, we were skint. Perhaps we should have had more meetings, perhaps we should have actually done something at the one meeting we did have. I don't know, but what I do know is that the West End Club saved our arses. The committee agreed to buy our first kit and gave us a budget of 350 quid. Hannah, as treasurer, decided to spend the lot on Carling and WKD, but we just managed to spend it on our kit before he got his mits on it.
Somehow we managed to pay our registration fees etc, sadly the Dorset FA had already drawn the Dorset Sunday Minor Cup, so we wern't allowed to enter, as we payed so late. Didn't give us back the entry fee we payed though!
Well as the season arrived we added Matthew Hodges to the squad. This was an excellent coup for us as we knew he was a good laugh, liked a shaker and we were told that he wasn't bad at football either.
So the season started and most of it so far is all on here. We did have to add one or two players to our squad. Hodgey gave us Kelvin and Sheppy, Marcus Cliffe decided he was big enough for mens football.
Well that's how it all started. No doubt I'll be adding bits occasionally as and when they come to me. As I'm sure I've left loads of bits out. Some bits are best left forgotten however.
Enough said.
